I need to upgrade my SQL 7 SP2 server to SP4. Are there any known problems
with doing this? Is this a fairly simple upgrade? SQL7 is on the same
server as Exchange 5.5, is that an issue?
Thanks,
John

Hi
SQL7 SP4 was a long long time ago! Why do you need to move up to this now?
I do not remember there being any problems with the upgrade, but then my
memory of SQL7 is not that great!

Server Hi Wei Lu, so it is not necessary to run the C: \ Program Files \ Microsoft Visual Studio 8 \ SDK \ v2.0 \ BootStrapper \ Packages \ ReportViewer \ ReportViewer.exe on any client? Thought that this redistributable-package installed correctly the following assemblies in the client's GAC: - Microsoft.ReportViewer.Common Microsoft.ReportViewer.ProcessingObjectModel - Microsoft.ReportViewer.WebForms - Microsoft.ReportViewer.WinForms Question: If it is NOT necessary to run the above mentioned setup, where do I put the two files on the client's PC? - Microsoft.ReportViewer.WinForms.dll - Microsoft.ReportViewer.Common.dll Into the c: \ windows \ system32 ?
