SQL Server - registrar MSDE 2000

Hola grupo estoy trabajando con SQL2000 y quiero registrar un Servidor MSDE
2000 que se encuentra en otra maquina .¿ me pueden decir como debo proceder?

Tengo un servidor SQL 2000 y en la consola SQL Enterprise Manager quiero
registrar el otro Servidor que tiene instalado el MSDE 2000 (en otra PC)
cuando quiero realizarlo  me da el mensaje de que el servidor  no existe o
se ha denegado el acceso al mismo.....

Mencione al servidor usando su dirección IP.

Funciono aplicando el setup con   el parametro
protocolos de comunicacion, MSDE 2000 los dehabilita por
defecto. "

So, I downloaded the MSDE for SQL 2000 (which is msde2000a.exe), set my switches and off to the races the Crystal Reports Server install. The error is the same whether I try to install MSDE by itself or install using Crystal Reports XI Server. The error is, "Setup failed to cleaned the registry and files before performing each install according to MS Article on removing MSDE.
